The guitar was donated by Van Spronsen to the Rotterdam Bluegrass Festival, which is held in the first week of July. The proceeds from this auction will go entirely to young musicians who of course represent the future of the live music we all love. The money will be used for the education program and to support bands in the Fresh Grass program.
With Fresh Grass, the Rotterdam Bluegrass Festival presents a selection of Dutch acts that have just outgrown the talent stage and are heading toward a promising future. Go see them, so that in a few years you can say: I was there for their first performance at the Rotterdam Bluegrass Festival!
