How it works

Every auction is an opportunity to own something truly special, from rare vintage instruments to unique custom builds and collector-grade pieces. Here’s how the process works, step by step.

1. Explore the auctions

All live and upcoming lots are listed on our website with detailed photos an full specifications prepared by our in-house experts. You can browse through all auctions or explore our curated collections.

2. Create an account

To place a bid, you’ll need a free account. Registration takes just a minute and requires a verification through SMS, free of cost. This short video shows you just how easy it is!

3. Place your bid

When an auction goes live, each lot starts with an opening bid. You can place a bid manually or select one of the suggested bid amounts. Some lots have a minimum reserve price, meaning they will only sell once that reserve is met. The exact amount is kept confidential.

All bids are final once placed. During the auction, you’ll receive instant updates whenever you’re outbid or leading. You can also watch an auction without bidding by clicking the bell icon. You’ll receive email notifications about new bids, as the auction nears its end, and once it has finished.

4. Winning a lot

When the timer runs out, the highest bidder wins, provided the reserve price is met. You’ll receive a confirmation email with payment instructions and your invoice.

If the reserve was not met, the lot remains unsold and you’ll receive an email notifying you. In some cases, our team may contact you to discuss a post-auction sale on behalf of the seller.

5. Payment

All payments are processed securely through our platform. Payment must be completed within 3 business days after receiving your invoice.

Your funds are held safely until your guitar is delivered and confirmed received. We accept major payment methods and bank transfers (details included in your invoice).

6. Shipping & delivery

Once payment is confirmed, our team carefully packs your instrument using custom protective materials. We ship worldwide using trusted carriers experienced in handling high-value guitars.

Tracking information is provided and insurance is in place for all shipments. You may also choose local pickup at The Fellowship of Acoustics in Dedemsvaart, The Netherlands.

7. After delivery

Your purchase is fully documented and accompanied by all available certificates and provenance details. If you have any questions about setup, maintenance or authenticity, our expert team is always happy to assist.
