Fender built this American Vintage '56 using original tooling and based the model directly on genuine 1956 specimens. The result is a guitar that takes you back to that exciting era when the Strat began to stake its claim on the guitar world, with pure tonal magic, style, and playing feel that were characteristic of that period. The roasted ash body gives this Limited Edition a distinctive character. The heat treatment of the wood not only gives the guitar a unique appearance but also enhances its stability and resonance. The thin satin finish allows the wood to breathe and vibrate freely, resulting in an open, dynamic tone with excellent sustain. The three single-coil pickups deliver authentic vintage tones ranging from crystal-clear to warm and full, while the Soft V neck profile fits perfectly in your hand for both rhythmic chord work and expressive lead parts. The 7.25" radius fingerboard and vintage-style tremolo complete the authentic playing experience.

The guitar is in near mint condition with only minimal playing marks and comes with a certificate of authenticity in a Fender tweed hardshell case.
