Fender Sting Artist Signature Precision Bass 2002/04

Sting's preference for the Precision Bass dates back to his time with The Police in the late '70s and early '80s, when he created the legendary bass lines with his iconic 1957 P-Bass that continue to inspire bands worldwide. Fender introduced this signature model to capture the specifications of his beloved instrument. The combination of a lightweight ash body with maple neck and fingerboard delivers that bright, punchy tone so characteristic of Sting's playing style. The '51-style single coil pickup at the neck gives the instrument a warm, vintage character with plenty of definition.

This Sting P-Bass was crafted in Japan. The serial number dates it to the period between 2002 and 2004. It is in near mint condition with only one ding near the input jack and comes with a Fender gigbag.
