This 1999 ES335 was built in the original Gibson Custom Shop in Nashville, Tennessee, and with its beautiful flamed maple, it is undoubtedly one of the finest versions of the model!

The ES335 has been an indispensable part of the guitar world since its introduction in 1958, and it is not without reason the favorite choice for guitarists on stage and in the studio.

The model was revolutionary due to the combination of a semi-hollow construction with a solid center block, combining the warm, open resonance of a hollowbody with the sustain and feedback control of a solidbody.

The guitar takes us back to the year 1959, when the model featured a long pickguard, dot inlays on the fretboard, and a long neck joint. The ’57 Classic humbuckers offer exactly the versatile sound you would expect from this model. That versatility made the ES335 beloved by guitarists of virtually every genre, from jazz and blues to rock and fusion.

Light signs of wear and superficial dings can be found on the entire front and back of the body, as well as on the neck and headstock. Patina is also present on the hardware and pickup covers, but the guitar is remarkably clean for an instrument that, let's not forget, was built in the last century!
