Martin D41 Standard 2004
Fees & taxes
The Martin D41 is a true masterpiece, designed for the demanding guitarist who accepts nothing less than perfection!
This iconic dreadnought combines traditional Martin elements with modern refinement, and the D41 distinguishes itself from standard Martin models with its beautiful and luxurious 41-style abalone purfling and rosette, and gold-colored tuning machines that make the model more than just a dreadnought; this is a true heirloom!
The guitar features a beautiful Indian rosewood body and a Sitka spruce top with X-bracing for an impressively balanced sound with rich bass tones and sparkling highs, and more than enough power to hold its own in any musical situation.
The mahogany neck features an ebony fingerboard with abalone inlay and ends at the rosewood headstock, where the beautiful abalone-inlaid "C.F. Martin" logo can be found. This combination of features allows the extremely versatile sound and excellent playability of the dreadnought to come into its own perfectly, making this Martin D41 a faithful companion that will last a lifetime of musical enjoyment.
This Martin D41 was built in 2004 and is in very good condition. The guitar has clearly been played heavily and has various signs of wear and dings on the top and body, including a large lacquer chip on the back. The lower bout has taken quite a beating; craquelé can be found in the lacquer on the top there, and there is a crack on the side on the treble side. Furthermore, the back of the neck has been sanded. A real player for the live guitarist who wants to sound good in style!
