The Rick Turner RN6 brings the best of two worlds together in one instrument: the sound of an acoustic guitar with the playability of an electric guitar! Instruments from the Renaissance series reproduce an acoustic tone with a full frequency range for recording and performances.

This satin-finished nylon-string Renaissance is equipped with a figured walnut top and mahogany body, and features black stained maple binding. The mahogany neck has an Ipe fingerboard, a hardwood also known as Brazilian walnut.

The thinline body is built like a good acoustic guitar with curved sides and a bracing top and back, but adds a solid center block to reduce feedback. A Turner Timberline piezo bridge pickup produces a full and rich amplified acoustic tone. The combination of these innovative construction methods represents the best way to achieve an acoustic tone when the guitar is amplified. The light weight and convincing sound make this Rick Turner a stage instrument par excellence.

This Rick Turner RN6 was built in 2017 and still looks remarkably clean. The guitar has a few very small dings on the edge of the back of the body, along with a small ding on the tip of the headstock. The decorative cap on the bass side of the bridge is also missing. Rick Turner's signature on the back of the headstock makes the picture complete!
