Rick Turner RS6 Renaissance Steel Cedar 2009
Fees & taxes
The Rick Turner RS6 brings the best of two worlds together in one instrument: the sound of an acoustic guitar with the playability of an electric guitar! Instruments from the Renaissance series produce an acoustic tone with a full frequency range for recording and performances.
This steel-string Renaissance is equipped with a glossy-finished top and walnut body, and features tortoise binding. The mahogany neck has an Ipe fingerboard, a hardwood also known as Brazilian walnut. Thanks to the 9.5-inch radius, the electric guitarist feels right at home.
The thinline body is built like a good acoustic guitar with curved sides and a bracing top and back, but adds a solid center block to reduce feedback. A Turner Timberline piezo bridge pickup produces a full and rich amplified acoustic tone. The combination of these innovative construction methods represents the best way to achieve an acoustic tone when the guitar is amplified.
This Rick Turner RS6 was built in 2009 and is in excellent condition. There are light playing marks and a few dings on the top, and light signs of use can also be found on the body and neck. The light weight and convincing sound make this Rick Turner an excellent stage instrument!
