Beautifully designed, adorned with intricate artwork, exceptionally comfortable to play and full of character in tone, they occupy a world entirely of their own.

Teye guitars are the life’s work of Dutch-born builder Teije Wijnterp, who combined his background as a flamenco guitarist with an almost obsessive attention to tone, detail and aesthetics. The use of exotic tonewoods, elaborate silver and mother-of-pearl inlays and the signature Mojo circuit give every Teye a unique identity. These are not mass-produced instruments, but expressive works of art built for players seeking inspiration in both sound and appearance.

The Mojo control is the secret weapon of this Teye guitar. Through a unique reassignment of pickup coils combined with a series of highly sophisticated filters, it unlocks a huge range of both familiar and entirely new tones. The circuit uses a custom-designed potentiometer that completely removes the electronics from the signal path when the control is set to “10,” allowing for a pure and direct signal.

This Super Coyote was built in 2016 and remains in excellent condition. The body, neck and aluminium plates show some light playwear and a few dings, but overall the guitar presents very cleanly. It comes complete with a Cedar Creek case.
